Food for Thought

A distinctive female voice said,
"Adam, please come here."
Nearby she heard him answer, "All
right, what is it dear?"
"In planning meals, I think we need
a fruit group in our diet.
I've found some growing on this
tree,
I'd like for you to try it!"
"Now Eve, you know the Good Lord
said specifically
Just help ourselves to all that's
here except this very tree!"
Eve said, "Now come on Adam"
and she snuggled up real tight.
So Adam just looked all around ...
and then, he took a bite.
The serpent's work was finished
As Eve tried on her leaf.
From that day 'til the end of time,
All mankind shares their grief.
